Part I – Biomedical Science Exam Schedule

The Part I – Biomedical Science Examination will be administered two times each year, on the first Tuesday in February and on the first Tuesday in August.

In February 2015, the NPLEX Part I – Biomedical Science Examination will be administered according to the following schedules:

9:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Biomedical Science Exam Administration – Section 1
(100 exam items, 2½ hours to complete the section)
12:00 p.m. – 1:00 p.m. Break
1:00 p.m. – 1:15 p.m. Admission and seating, instructions given to examinees
1:15 p.m. – 3:45 p.m. Biomedical Science Exam Administration – Section 2
(100 exam items, 2½ hours to complete the section)
