Future NPLEX Exam Dates

In February 2020, the NPLEX Part I – Biomedical Science Examination will be administered on Tuesday, February 4th.  The NPLEX Part II – Core Clinical Science Examination will be administered Wednesday-Friday, February 5th, 6th, and 7th. NPLEX Part II – Clinical Elective Examination in Minor Surgery will be administered on Wednesday, February 5th.  The NPLEX Part II – Clinical Elective Examination in Acupuncture will be administered on Thursday, February 6th.  The NPLEX Part II – Clinical Elective Examination in Pharmacology will be administered on Friday, February 7th.

In August 2020, the NPLEX Part I – Biomedical Science Examination will be administered on Tuesday, August 4th.  The NPLEX Part II – Core Clinical Science Examination will be administered Wednesday-Friday, August 5th, 6th, and 7th.  The NPLEX Part II – Clinical Elective Examination in Minor Surgery will be administered on Wednesday, August 5th.  The NPLEX Part II – Clinical Elective Examination in Acupuncture will be administered on Thursday, August 6th.  The NPLEX Part II – Clinical Elective Examination in Pharmacology will be administered on Friday, August 7th.

Important Information for Those Planning to Practise in Ontario

The College of Naturopaths of Ontario (CONO), the regulatory authority in the Province of Ontario, has announced that it will be producing its own entry-to-practise examinations for candidates who plan to become registered to practise in Ontario. NABNE will continue to administer both the NPLEX Part I and Part II Examinations in Toronto, Ontario for the forseeable future.

Candidates seeking to become registered as NDs in Ontario are now required to have passed the Ontario Clinical Sciences Exam. CONO will accept results from the NPLEX Part I – Biomedical Science Examination through November 14, 2020. After that date, candidates will be required to pass the Ontario Biomedical Exam if they plan to practise in Ontario.
